Does the light shadow around a corrected image indicate a lens or keystone correction issue?
This is common for all DLP projectors and can be attributed to the TI chip.
When using the keystone correction feature, the lens and light direction can’t be physically changed. The digital keystone correction technology has minimized the shadow from the original projection areas and leaves a corrected image within the actual projection area. However, the digital keystone correction feature can’t cover all the light from the lens. Please note that there is no light shadow while using front projection mode without keystone correction.
Can the manual horizontal keystone be advanced to auto horizontal keystone correction?
Hi dear customer,
Thanks for choosing XGIMI.
For the XGIMI Keystone correction, the projectors as designed based on their own hardware support. Auto horizontal keystone correction feature is supported via the advanced chips inside of XGIMI projectors, So the manual horizontal keystone correction feature cannot be fulfilled via simple firmware update, appreciate your understanding.
Feel free to contact the XGIMI Service team if you need any additional support.

Brightness
ANSI Lumens is a unit defined by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) that measures the overall amount of projector light output. In other words, the higher the ANSI lumen value for a projector, the brighter the light it produces.
There are multiples ways to refer to the brightness unit found online and within the industry: Lumens, ANSI lumens, color lumens, marketing lumens, but ANSI lumens are the most standard unit for projector brightness. Based on the actual viewing experience: 1 ANSI lumens = 3-4 Lumens.
How do I switch my projector to the Global version? Can you help change the system language?
Dear customer,
Thanks for choosing XGIMI!
Regarding your request, XGIMI offers two versions for some of our projectors: the Chinese version for Chinese customers and the Global version for customers from overseas. However, this is not for all models. Some models were manufactured as Chinese versions only.
Note: we don’t recommend customers switch between the two systems to avoid possible compatibility issues, booting issues, and system crashes.
If you have already purchased the projector, please try to install a TV stick such as the Fire TV Stick or Roku TV/Mi box instead of switching the firmware directly.
If you’re planning to buy an XGIMI projector, please consider the global version for better local service and warranty.
